Our Fuss-Free Licences

When you make a purchase at STOCKCGIMAGES.COM, you are purchasing a PERSONAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE, NON-TRANSFERRABLE LICENCE TO USE, subject to the following conditions, the nominated product/s. Copyrights in the licensed products remain with the creator of the work at all times.

You must not download, copy, share or use our resources in any manner whatsoever without having purchased a valid licence, or outside of the scope of that licence.

GENERAL

As licensee, YOU are, in all cases and for all products, responsible for ensuring that your licensed copies of a product are not available to be used by anyone else.

YOU MUST NOT ALLOW use the licensed resource/s to be used in such a way that they may be associated with topics or subject matter which is illegal or defamatory, promotes hate or violence, or which a reasonable person would consider to be in conflict with the legal or moral standards of the society/s in which it is likely to be seen.

YOU MUST NOT use the licensed resources to create a logo or trademark, as this would purport to restrict the rights of other licence holders who have a valid right to their use.

All individuals depicted in our images have been digitally created and are in no way intended to depict a real person. Any likeness between the characters depicted in our images and any real person (living or deceased) is entirely coincidental and unintended. Similarly, all objects and designs depicted in our imagery are intended to be original and/ or generic in nature and are in no way intended to represent a third-party brand or proprietary design. Any likeness to third-party brands or proprietary designs is entirely coincidental and unintended. As licensee, you MUST NOT use the licensed resources to depict real people (living or deceased), or third-party brands or proprietary products or designs.

STOCK IMAGES (Restricted Licence)

You MAY use licensed stock images to create an unlimited number of personal or client, free or commercial projects. We place no restrictions on the size of the client, on the structure of your organisation, nor on the number of copies or exposures of the derived work. However, note that you are purchasing a SINGLE SEAT licence, which means that the licensed resource may be used by a single person only on up to 3 devices. If you require that multiple persons within your organisation use the resource, you must purchase a licence for each of them.

You MAY use licensed stock images to create printed or digital advertising or promotional materials, or materials for the design of websites, slideshows, performances and presentations.

YOU MUST NOT use licensed stock images to create products for redistribution or resale in any format, even if modified by you. This includes, but is not limited to, print-on-demand products of any type, book or album covers, clothing prints, posters or art prints, or any other physical or digital product. If you would like to discuss the creation of custom images suitable for resale, please contact us.

YOU MUST NOT share, redistribute or sublicense the licensed images/ design resources in their original form, or in any form that may seem to compete with the creator and/ or licensor of the work, even if modified by you. You must not upload them to stock image, print-on-demand or marketplace websites for any reason whatsoever.

YOU MUST NOT use licensed stock images in templates for resale or redistribution. These include, but are not limited to, website templates, business card/ promotional flyer templates etc. Please contact us to discuss purchasing an extended licence if you wish to use our resources in this manner.

YOU MUST NOT distribute licensed resources in a format in which they may be isolated or extracted (for example, in vector, layered or unflattened format) to any unauthorised persons, including to your client (who must purchase their own licence if they require a copy of these), except for the sole purpose of completing the project (eg passing source files to your printer), on the undertaking that such files are kept secure and unavailable for use by anyone else. If your licence agreement is revoked or terminated all copies of the image or resource must be irrecoverably deleted. Remember that YOU, as licensee, are responsible for what happens to products licensed by you.

YOU MUST NOT (wherever practical) allow a high resolution version (greater than 1000px on its longest size) of licensed stock images to be uploaded to the Internet or network from which it may be downloaded. If you license a high resolution image from us, we will additionally supply a lower resolution (up to 1000px on its longest side) version intended for use in your online catalogue and/ or web marketing (we recommend that these are, if possible, watermarked and further reduced to the lowest practical size before being made available on social media or other publicly accessible websites). If you must use a larger image (ie greater than 1000px on its longest side) on an independent website, you should use the smallest practical version of that image and watermark as appropriate. Again, please remember that you, as licensee, are responsible for ensuring the security of products licensed to you.

YOU MUST NOT explicitly represent, or allow the implicit representation, that you are the creator of the work. You must not remove any artist's signature, initials or other identifiers from the licensed work.

 

DESIGN RESOURCES (Extended Licence)

OVERLAYS, EMBELLISHMENTS, ISOLATED INDIVIDUAL DESIGN ELEMENTS and TEMPLATES are typically designed to assist you to create your own original work, and so, in a typical use case, would be treated as VERY MINOR DESIGN ELEMENTS used under an extended licence. Note, however, that, if you utilise these as the PRIMARY ELEMENT in a design, they would be treated as STOCK IMAGES under a restrictive licence as above.

Design resources used under an extended licence may be used to create products for any legal and socially acceptable purpose, for personal or commercial use, with the following restrictions...
